NCDHHS’s first quarterly report raises serious concerns about compliance with the Consent Order. For example, the report lacks required data on availability of community support services.
This information is critical to ensuring that the state can build a system that successfully meets the needs of people with intellectual/developmental disabilities. NCDHHS says its next report, due Jan. 15, 2025, will provide more information. We will share that, and all other reports, as they are available.
In the meantime, read the first quarterly report here, along with DRNC’s full comments. Read it here, along with DRNC’s full comments.
