If you are experiencing an emergency and need immediate assistance, we encourage you to seek other available resources or services that may be able to assist with urgent needs. DRNC also offers many excellent self-help resources on our website Resources – DRNC

Before You Continue

Because of major funding cuts, Disability Rights North Carolina (DRNC) has reduced staff hours and is only able to accept a limited number of new cases for legal representation. We understand how important our services are and remain committed to helping as many people as possible by providing information, referrals, and self-advocacy tools.

We help with disability-related discrimination, abuse, and rights violations. We cannot assist with criminal cases, divorce or custody, Social Security or Medicaid applications, personal injury, workers’ compensation, or wills.

Declining will return you to the previous step.
