Kirby Morrow

Advocate Home Team

Kirby Morrow joined DRNC as an intake advocate in December 2021, and most recently moved to HOME Team, centering her work around ensuring people with disabilities have equal opportunities to live, work, and participate in their communities. In her work as an intake advocate, Morrow worked to provide a caring and resource-rich experience to all callers with non-legal issues. Supports include links to resources, a plan to resolve the reason for contacting the agency, and brief advocacy to make sure each caller has a positive and helpful process.

While Morrow is relatively new to the HOME and intake teams, she is not new to DRNC. She worked as advocate on the Kids Team from May 2010 – October 2012. Morrow holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and has more than 30 years of experience working with children and families. Her experience also includes grant writing, creating permanent housing programs for more than 100 families, and, most recently, working as a post-adoption specialist. She loves animals and traveling.
