Demetrice Jones

Investigator/Advocate

Demetrice Jones joined Disability Rights North Carolina in September 2024 as an investigator and advocate. Her work focuses on investigating and monitoring facilities where people with disabilities live, ensuring their rights and well-being are protected.

Demetrice holds a bachelor’s degree in human services and has a background as an investigative/assessment and treatment child protective services social worker. She is drawn to this work by her lifelong passion for helping others, particularly those who are vulnerable and in need.

In her free time, Demetrice enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and close friends.
