Candace joined DRNC in 2021 as a staff attorney on the CASE team. A native of North Carolina, Candace received her undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University and her law degree from UNC School of Law. While in law school Candace interned with Disability Rights NC and developed an appreciation and passion for advocating for individuals living with disabilities. She previously worked with Legal Aid of North Carolina on the Disaster Relief team, providing legal support to survivors of Hurricane Florence. In her free time, Candace enjoys spending time with family, friends and her two “fur-babies” Tyson and Betsy.
