Restorative Justice Clinic
- Receives referrals from juvenile intake counselors, juvenile court, the local school system and private individuals who have been affected by crime or disruptive behavior
- Helps resolve disputes between victims and offenders using restorative justice practices

Senior Law Clinic
- Helps seniors age 60 and above with a monthly household below $1,897 for single individuals and below $2,572 for married couples
- Issues include powers of attorney and other advance directives issues, problems facing grandparents raising children, fraud and consumer issues, abuse, guardianship, landlord and tenant problems, Medicaid, food stamps, unemployment appeals, rights in nursing homes, and simple wills for property owners

NC Central School of Law
Located in Durham (serves Durham County and possibly beyond)
Civil Litigation Clinic
- Cases include landlord-tenant, police misconduct, prison conditions, government unemployment benefits, housing discrimination
- To qualify, potential clients must meet income requirements established for Legal Aid
- Does not take cases directly and considers referrals from our community partners who have included Legal Aid of North Carolina, North Carolina Prisoner Legal Services, Southern Coalition for Social Justice, and the North Carolina Conference of the NAACP.

Criminal Defense Clinic
- Helps with misdemeanor criminal court proceedings or to provide legal advice about expungements and other criminal record relief
- Most cases are referred from the Durham County Public Defender’s Office. Sometimes the clinic will accept someone who does not qualify for a court-appointed attorney
