DRNC is seeking feedback about Intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs) and the people they serve. Because ICFs vary in their quality and integration in the community, our intention is to identify ways residents can live in the highest quality, most integrated way possible. We want to learn from your experiences to make recommendations to improve quality and integration for all people living in ICFs.

Note: We are asking for your contact information so that we may follow up with additional questions if needed. All responses will be reviewed and may be shared but we will *not* publicly release your name or quote your remarks by name without your permission. We will gather and share feedback in a way that it does not identify you or your family member unless you agree.

In some places, there are different rules – called the Home and Community Based Settings rules – that require residents have privacy (such as a door that locks), choice of roommates, freedom to furnish or decorate their own space, and control of their own schedule including access to food at any time. The rules also allow residents to have visitors when they choose. Would you want to see any of these options available at your ICF? Are there any changes you would like to see where you live?
