Holly Stiles is a North Carolina native who received her undergraduate degree from UNC Chapel Hill. She obtained a J.D. from New York Law School and started practicing law in New York City, but soon realized she is not a forever New Yorker and moved back to North Carolina. She worked for Disability Rights NC from 2009 to 2018 enforcing the rights of people with disabilities to access, work, and play in the communities of their choice. Holly left Disability Rights NC in 2018 to work for the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) as a trial attorney in the Raleigh field office. In 2020, Holly returned to Disability Rights NC and is now the assistant legal director leading DRNC’s high-impact, systemic litigation efforts.
