Cynthia came to law school after thirty years as a psychology professor and academic administrator. She is a third-year student at Campbell University School of Law, where she’s focused on education law and disability rights through the Richardson Family Education Law Clinic and a fall externship in Justice Earls’ chambers at the NC Supreme Court. Her clinical work included representing a student through mediation and settlement in a special education matter, which deepened her understanding of the gap between what the law promises and what families actually experience. Cynthia is eager to contribute to DRNC’s work and learn from everyone she will be working alongside this summer!
