Attorney

Araca Miller joined DRNC in September 2019 as an information and referral attorney. She brings to the intake role both her social work background and her knowledge of the law and legal skills. Miller grew up in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina, but Raleigh has become her home since college. She received her bachelor’s degree in social work from North Carolina State University and her law degree from Campbell University School of Law. Before attending law school, Miller had the opportunity to volunteer at a rehabilitation center for children with physical and developmental disabilities while studying abroad in Guatemala. She also interned with Legal Aid of North Carolina for four months. Miller says that helping people wherever they are is her calling. She loves hiking, coffee, watching videos of corgis, playing board games with friends and family, and of course, her kind and caring husband.
