Become a Voting Accessibility Tester for DRNC!
Access the Vote NC
Disability Rights North Carolina (DRNC) is seeking people with disabilities to help us find what barriers there are for people with disabilities in the voting process. Please help us make sure people with disabilities can vote without barriers by becoming an accessibility tester!
If you are a person with a disability, have some flexibility in your schedule, and are interested in helping us assess accessibility in the voting process, please fill out the form below and a DRNC staff member will contact you with next steps. There are multiple projects, so we will review each application and let applicants know if they are a fit for any project. Filling out this form does not obligate you in any way.
Step 1: Complete the Survey/Application
Fill out the survey below with your basic contact information and some preliminary questions. If you meet our eligibility criteria, you will then be contacted by DRNc staff to arrange for you participation in training.
Step 2: Initial Training
DRNC will conduct initial training for qualified applicants. At this training, DRNC will provide information on how the voting accessibility testing works and what DRNC needs from testers. At this time any materials you need to complete the testing will be given to you. You will be paid for completing the training.
Step 3: Testing Assignments
Once training is completed, DRNC will contact you when testing assignments become available. Stipends are given for completed testing assignments.
Thank you for your time and interest! Your participation will help ensure the voting process is accessible in North Carolina!
