Vote by Mail Photo ID
- ALL VOTERS using Photo ID Exception Form are at greater risk of having their ballots rejected.
- MILITARY voters can’t photocopy their military ID (it’s illegal) and have limited access to photocopiers during deployment.
- SENIORS may have limited access to photocopiers.
- RELIGIOUS OBJECTIONS or DISABILITIES that prevent a voter from getting an ID wouldn’t be protected.
Income Tax
Constitutional amendment to keep the State income tax rate from being raised higher than three and onehalf percent (3.5%).
- AVERAGE FAMILIES will see increased fines and fees for services, which will likely eliminate any savings.
- LOCAL GOVERNMENTS would lose $18 billion per year in state funding and would struggle to fund community needs.
- SCHOOLS‘ budgets would shrink, cutting teacher pay and student services.
- PUBLIC HEALTH, SAFETY, and EMERGENCY SERVICES would be cut due to funding shortages.
Property Tax
Constitutional amendment requiring limits on property tax increases by local governments.
- FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES would see more fines, fees, and reduced services for education, libraries, elections, public transportation, and emergency medical services.
- RENTERS do not benefit from property tax cuts.
- COUNTIES would lose significant funding and local leaders would struggle to fund the critical needs of the community.
- COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE DEVELOPERS, many of whom live out of state, would receive a large financial benefit.
