Law Interns
Cynthia Edwards

Cynthia came to law school after thirty years after becoming a psychology professor and academic administrator. She is a third-year student at Campbell University School of Law, where she’s focused on education law and disability rights through the Richardson Family Education Law Clinic and a fall externship in Justice Earls’ chambers at the NC Supreme Court. Her clinical work included representing a student through mediation and settlement in a special education matter, which deepened her understanding of the gap between what the law promises and what families experience. Cynthia is eager to contribute to DRNC’s work and learn from everyone she will be working alongside this summer!
Raun-Kahil Hall

Raun-Kahil is a first-generation law student from North Carolina. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He is a rising 3L at The Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University and has an interest in special education law and criminal law. Raun’s interest in the law and policy surrounding special education and the school-to-prison pipeline have led him to take on opportunities where he can engage and take an active part in working to attain the best possible outcomes for people with disabilities in North Carolina. Outside of the law, Raun has interests including geology, video games, and reading mystery novels.
Jack Rosen

Jack is a rising 2L at American University Washington College of Law. Before pursuing a law degree he spent several years working in the disability rights movement. Jack’s professional background is in strategic communications and voter mobilization. He directed the documentary Accessing Democracy — which profiled voters with disabilities in the lead up the 2024 presidential election.
Madeline Taccetta
Madeline is a rising 2L at Campbell Law School in Raleigh. She grew up in Rockland County, New York (across the Hudson River from Westchester) and moved to North Carolina to go to NC State in 2021. Madeline has always had a drive for advocacy. She helped create a Red Cross Club at her high school, interned at the US Attorney’s office in Raleigh in the Victim Witness Division, and volunteered for Teen Court in Wake County. In her free time, she loves to travel, read, and draw. Madeline is excited to join the DRNC team, grow in professional skills, and continue to aid her community!
