Howie Lintz joined Disability Rights North Carolina in February 2025 as DRNC’s fair housing attorney. In this role, he represents and advocates for North Carolinians with disabilities who have experienced illegal housing discrimination. Before joining DRNC, Howie spent more than five years at Legal Aid of North Carolina, where he worked on housing and economic justice issues affecting low-income communities across the state.
Howie earned his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he participated in several public interest and civil rights advocacy programs. Howie is passionate about his work with DRNC which focuses on advancing and protecting disability rights in housing as well as helping ensure that people with disabilities have equal access to housing opportunities, reasonable accommodations, and the ability to live in the communities of their choice.
