Andrea Langlois, a native of Raleigh, N.C., joined DRNC in 2018. Her work focused on advocacy and investigation within the education system until 2020, when she joined the investigations and monitoring team as an Investigator. Langlois earned her bachelor’s degree in child development at Brigham Young University in Idaho. Afterwards, she moved to San Francisco with AmeriCorps in their partnership with Prevent Child Abuse California. In California, she worked with children with delays and disabilities as a teacher, coordinator, and developmental therapist. She continued that work after returning to North Carolina. Langlois is pursuing her master’s degree in education from UNC-Wilmington. Outside of work, Langlois likes to read, try the most delicious restaurants in the Triangle, and attend to her two dog’s every whim.
