Attorney

Alexandra Southerland joined DRNC in January 2023 as a housing attorney. Alexandra’s work focuses on helping people with disabilities to maintain housing by advocating against housing discrimination and improving equal access to housing. She graduated from Campbell University in May 2014 and Campbell University School of Law in May 2017. Alexandra began working as a staff attorney at Legal Aid of North Carolina, Inc. in 2018. She later served as a supervising attorney from 2021 – 2022. Though there may be many obstacles, Alexandra remains driven about using her knowledge, dedication and passion to assist people with disabilities to navigate difficult waters and lead their best life. She loves running and values spending quality time with family and friends.
