On-Demand CLEs

Attorneys licensed in North Carolina must complete 12 hours of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) per year. The NC State Bar will give credit for up to six hours per year received via on-demand videos.

Clients with Disabilities: Ethical Considerations

What do attorneys need to consider when representing a client who may have diminished capacity? How do you identify if this is an issue, and if so, what are your responsibilities to those clients? During this course, viewers will explore these and other ethical issues including how to preserve attorney-client privilege, how to best communicate with clients with diminished capacity, and dealing with conflicts. (60 minutes)
