From October 15-31, NC voters can cast an absentee ballot at an early voting site (also called one-stop early voting). You can cast your ballot at any early voting site in your county. 

What are the benefits of early voting?

Didn’t register by Oct. 9? It’s not too late! Visit an early voting site during the early voting period and you can complete same-day registration and vote early all in one stop. In order to register, you will need to bring a proof of address with you. 

Things you can use for proof of address:

  • Driver’s license
  • Current power bill, water bill or cable bill
  • Bank statement
  • Government pay-check
