Raleigh, NC: Disability Rights NC and The Coalition will host a candidate meet and greet at the Contemporary Art Museum at 409 W. Martin Street in downtown Raleigh on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. More than 25 candidates from across the State, including Congressional and Council of State Candidates, have confirmed their attendance. The event will provide people with disabilities an opportunity to meet and learn about candidates on both sides of the aisle. The event coincides with National Voter Registration Day, and registration opportunities will be provided to all attendees. Attendees will have an opportunity to view current exhibits at the Contemporary Art Museum, including the Horowitz My Land/Your Land: Election ’12 exhibition.
